Monitoring

Monitoring is the target-orientated, long-term recording, monitoring, analysis and evaluation of processes and data that is necessary for the successful management of destinations and operations. Monitoring cannot solve problems, but it can point to problems that need to be solved.

Four key functions distinguish our understanding of monitoring:

  • Observation function: the observation function itself, in other words the systematic, long-term, problem-orientated logging of selected parameter values at regular intervals.
  • Early warning function: the evaluation task of monitoring, the identification of critical values or states.
  • Controlling function: the accompanying monitoring of management measures (before and after).
  • Benchmarking function: the derivation of optimal values or statuses for the individual indicators or set of indicators (identification of the best).

We will help you determine the measurement figures relevant for you (market share, expenditure etc.) and the sensible coupling of monitoring with statistics, data collection, surveys etc. In addition, we will also be happy to advise you on the selection and installation of a monitoring system. For this purpose, we work closely with renowned manufacturers.
